A feasting Saturday night

I was disappointed that we did not go to Bretts Wharf  but ended up at The Coro, Lure restaurant instead. Lure was rated as Queensland Best Seafood Restaurant in 2009. Well, by right we should be eating the seafood platter but it was too expensive, so, we ordered their  Certified Black Angus Eye Fillet and Grilled Barramundi & Soft Shell Crab instead. The fish was a disappointment and the soft shell crab came only in one pathetic small piece (see picture below) however, I must stay that the steak was great.
Well, for 25% discount off our bill, we can't complain much but it will be a place I won't go back again because the food wasn't fantastic and the ambience isn't great.

Below: Grilled Barramundi & Soft Shell Crab (Asparagus spears & Sweet Soy Lemongrass Sauce) - See that orangy piece on top of the fish? That was the pathetic soft shell crab.

My favourite meal of the day: Dessert! ! 16th on the Park is now ranked as my top favorite dessert cafe!  If you are a dessert fan and already have some place in mind as your favorite, wait till you eat here. Its unbelievable! The hot chocolate fudge with vanilla ice-cream was so chewy, gluey and thick that it was like having good quality warm chocolate melt in your mouth!
