Tea culture 1- Gifts from great friends

I was so happy to receive a parcel from my dear friend and in it was 4 flavours of tea for Mr Hoby and I to try! Yayy...

I was trying to ration and decided to open up the Pearl of the Orient this week. Well, because I think it goes well with Bak Chang, and also I really am attracted by the rosebud green tea leaves.

Verdict: I love it to bits. It has a subtle flowery taste and green tea after taste. It has a very sweet smell as well. It really goes well with this Bak Chang that our church friend bought for us. The Bak Chang is made by a lady call Zhang Tai Tai and apparently famous in Brisbane.

According to my friend, the Bak Chang is taiwanese style and it has huge peanuts in it. The taste and texture is very similar to the Hokkien Chang we have in Singapore.

What a satisfying meal with gifts from great friends! Thanks dear Ms Lee and Ms Lim!
